SECOND TBI TOP 10 SUSPECT WANTED ON ATTEMPTED MURDER AND ROBBERY CHARGES NOW IN CUSTODY

 

JOHNSON CITY – Just days after her boyfriend was arrested, a woman who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list in June is now in custody, after being located today in Louisiana.

 

Makayla Stilwell (DOB 4/6/95) had been wanted by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to face a number of charges, including Attempted Second Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery, in connection to a shooting incident that occurred on June 20th in Kingsport.  She is also charged with Aggravated Kidnapping out of Hawkins County. Stilwell’s boyfriend, Jarret Heitmann, was also wanted in connection to the incident. He was arrested by authorities in New Orleans on Thursday during a shoplifting incident.

 

On Sunday, authorities received information that Stilwell was spotted at a park in the New Orleans area. She was located and arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force Sunday evening. Stilwell was transported to a hospital to undergo treatment for an injury sustained prior to her arrest.
