THREE ADDITIONAL ARRESTS MADE IN JULY 4TH SHOOTING IN SAVANNAH

 

JACKSON – An ongoing investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of three individuals, charged for their role in the shooting of a McNairy County woman last week.

 

At the request of 24th District Attorney General Matt Stowe, on July 4th, Agents joined officers with the Savannah Police Department in investigating a shooting. Shortly after 8 o’clockthat night, Savannah police officers responded to a shooting call at the Savannah Dodge Store at 650 Wayne Road, where a female had been shot multiple times. She was ultimately transported to a Memphis hospital, where she continues to be treated. On July 5th, Lakeevan Barnes was arrested and charged with one count of Attempted First Degree Murder. Further investigation determined that three other individuals, Demark Atkins, Antonio Adams and Tana Camp, were also involved in the shooting incident.

 

On Monday night, the three individuals, all from Savannah, turned themselves in. Demark Dewayne Atkins (DOB 03/28/1997), below left, is charged with one count of Attempted First Degree Murder and is being held on a $2-million bond. Antonio Tyred Adams (DOB 07/27/1992), below middle, is charged with one count of Attempted First Degree Murder and one count of Criminal Responsibility for Facilitation of a Felony, and has a bond of $2-million. Tana Nicole Camp (DOB 11/10/1996) is charged with Criminal Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, and has a $25,000 bond. All three were booked into the Hardin County Jail.
