TWO MEN ARRESTED FOLLOWING SMITH COUNTY INVESTIGATION
SMITH COUNTY – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the indictment and arrest of two men, accused of abusing a corpse.
At the request of 15th District Attorney General Tommy Thompson, on June 9th, TBI Special Agents began investigating the discovery of a body near Seabowisha Lane in Lancaster in Smith County. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that three days prior, the body of Cameron Wilson (DOB 03/10/2000) had been taken to that location from outside the county, and left there.
On September 10th, the Smith County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Donald Lee Reynolds (DOB 09/04/1978) of Antioch and Justin Gage Cease (DOB 03/29/1988) of Lexa, Arkansas, each of one count of Abuse of a Corpse. The two were arrested Monday and booked into the Smith County Jail. Bond for Reynolds was set at $50,000, and $25,000 for Cease.
