On 10/21/2019 Officers with the Humboldt Police Department responded to a house on Ferrell St. in reference to a victim being stabbed. Officers arrived on scene and found 33 year old David Riggs of Humboldt with multiple cuts and stab wounds. David Riggs was transported to Jackson Madison County General Hospital and later flown to Regional One Med Center in Memphis Tn. in critical condition. 50 year old Brent Davis of Humboldt has been charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Tampering with Evidence
