Stolen UTVs

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the thefts of three Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV) in the northeast portion of Madison County which includes Waynick Road/Highway 412 East/Christmasville Road areas.

-December 6th, 2022, a 2012 Polaris Ranger UTV was stolen in the 2000 block of Christmasville Road.

-December 20th, 2022, a 2020 U-Force 500 (gray in color) UTV was stolen in the 1000 block of Highway 412 East.

-December 20th, 2022 a 2019 Polaris 900 (beige/tan in color) UTV was stolen from the 700 block of Waynick Road.

We believe all of these thefts occurred during the nighttime hours on each of these dates. Investigators with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office are currently attempting to obtain any video footage from residents in these areas to ascertain a suspect vehicle description. The Sheriff’s Office has also added additional patrols to these areas as well.

If you live in a rural area of Madison County, we are asking all residents to be proactive in securing and locking up all valuables as well as removing any keys from motorized equipment.
