MISSISSIPPI MURDER SUSPECT APPREHENDEND BY U.S. MARSHALS IN
MEMPHIS
Memphis, Tennessee – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of Jacoris Drummer. He is wanted out of Bolivar County, Mississippi, for Murder, Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery. He also has a federal arrest warrant for Felon in Possession of a Firearm out of the Northern District of Mississippi.
On March 3, 2022, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) filed a criminal complaint in the Northern District of Mississippi for Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The ATF then delegated the case to the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) out of Memphis to locate and arrest Drummer.
This afternoon deputies with the TRVFTF went to 7039 South Beringer Drive in Cordova to apprehend Drummer. The entry team of deputies knocked and announced their presence at the door. Drummer surrendered to the deputies, and he was taken into custody without incident.
U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller stated, “Deputies with the U.S. Marshals Service are committed to finding and apprehending violent fugitives to make our communities safe.” The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The Western Tennessee Division of the TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S.
Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
