Gadsden man charged with murdering woman

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man has been charged with first-degree murder after Crockett County deputies say he fatally shot a woman on Saturday.

The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department announced on Facebook they charged 66-year-old Ephrim Cook with first-degree murder for the premeditated killing of 47-year-old Fredrine Booker.

Ephrim Cook allegedly shot Booker on Saturday outside the city limits of Gadsden. Wreg.com
