Reading is Still FUNdamental

For parents looking for a positive group for their girls to be apart of the Butterflies and Bookworms Book Club may be the group to join. The Butterflies and Bookworms is a book club for girls ages 4-12 years old.  The Butterflies and Bookworms meet on the third Saturday of each month at the Jackson-Madison County Library in Downtown Jackson, TN. The book club currently has 25 active members and welcomes new members every month. Each month the girls read books selected by their organizer, Angela Parks. The book that has been selected for April is called “I Am Enough” by Grace Byers. This book will teach the girls how to love and respect themselves while also being kind to others. The books and activities that are selected for the Butterflies and Bookworms help them learn life values, etiquette, and literacy. Along with reading books the book club also have special guest such as authors and community leaders. They also go on field trips and host cooking classes. The Butterflies and Bookworms Book Club makes reading fun for the girls while teaching them life lessons.  For more information about The Butterflies and Bookworms Book Club join their group or contact Angela Nelson Parks on Facebook.
