THIRTEEN UT MARTIN STUDENTS TO ATTEND 2021 AFA LEADERS CONFERENCE
MARTIN, Tenn. – Thirteen University of Tennessee at Martin agriculture students will
attend the 2021 Agriculture Future of America Leaders Conference, Nov. 11-14, in Kansas City,
Missouri. This is the largest number of UT Martin students selected to attend.
The AFA Leaders Conference includes four tracks that provide different personal and
professional development skills based on each student’s year in college and past involvement
with the conference. Skills include time management, goal setting, cultural competence and team
leadership. The conference selects attendees based on their leadership and professional
experience and community service.
The students that will attend are listed below:
Paige Abruzzese, a freshman agriculture major from Hamburg, Pennsylvania;
Rebecca Glover, a sophomore veterinary science and technology major from Spring Hill;
Matt Hale, a senior agriculture major from Manchester;
Thomas Henson, a sophomore agriculture major from Hillsboro;
Sydney Horton, a junior agriculture major from Tullahoma;
Avery Lamberson, a freshman agriculture major from Watertown;
Cassie Lewis, a sophomore agriculture major from Gates;
Breanna Mills, a freshman agriculture major from Parsons;
Samantha Peyton, a junior agriculture major from Morrison;
McKenzie Reagor, a senior agricultural business major from Karnak, Illinois;
Jordan Stringfield, a freshman veterinary science and technology major from McEwen;
Sarah Tyler, a freshman agricultural business major from McEwen;
Felicity Vargo, a freshman agriculture major from Memphis.
