LOCAL STUDENT RECEIVES MASS MEDIA AND STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION AWARD
MARTIN, Tenn. – Jennifer Wyatt, a student at Jackson South High School, received an award
from the University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Mass Media and Strategic Communication
during a virtual ceremony April 7. The ceremony is held yearly and is recognizes outstanding
students and alumni for their contributions.
Wyatt received the Freshman Academic Scholarship, which honors outstanding incoming
freshmen. The department recognizes students in each of the four academic concentrations –
broadcasting, media design, news-editorial and public relations.
