LOCAL STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AT UT MARTIN HONORS DAY – Three Madison County students received awards at the University of Tennessee at Martin’s annual Honors Day Ceremony on May 1.
Riley Allison, of Jackson, received the Outstanding Accounting and Finance Student Award. The award is presented by the College of Business and Global Affairs.
Mari Morgan, of Jackson, received the Bateman-Wyant History Award, which is presented to a full-time history student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher based on students’ writing submissions.
Jayleana Wyatt, of Jackson, received the Intercollegiate Athletics Student-Athlete Award for track. The award is given by the Office of Intercollegiate Athletics staff and coaches and recognizes athletes who have demonstrated leadership and academic excellence.
