FHU Commencement Set for Friday, Dec. 15
Henderson, Tennessee — (Dec. 12, 2023) — Approximately 115 students are expected to receive degrees from Freed-Hardeman University Friday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. in Loyd Auditorium. In addition to the 59 baccalaureate degrees to be conferred, 47 students will receive graduate degrees. In addition, five professional education and behavioral health licenses have been awarded through the FHU College of Graduate Education and Behavioral Health.
Included in the number are six students who will receive the degree of Associate of Applied Science. They constitute the first cohort of this newly accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
Eleven students are on tap to receive the Doctor of Education, and three will be awarded the Doctor of Behavioral Health. Finally, 32 master’s degrees and one education specialist degree will be conferred. In addition, five professional education and behavioral health licenses have been awarded through the College of Graduate Education and Behavioral Health.
Prior to the commencement exercises, a reception honoring the graduates will be held in Hope Barber Shull Academic Resource Center 3:45-5:15 p.m. Graduates and their families are invited to attend the event hosted by the FHU Office of Alumni Engagement.
