FHU Associates to Host Annual Victorian Tea Party May 20
Henderson, Tennessee — (May 9, 2023) — The Freed-Hardeman University Associates will present the 21st annual Victorian Tea Party for student scholarships Saturday, May 20, 2023, at historic Hardeman House, 307 White Avenue in Henderson, Tennessee, from noon until 4 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at fhu.edu/teaparty.
“Since the month of May includes the coronation of King Charles III for our friends across the pond, this year's Victorian Tea Party will join the world-wide celebration with activities and decor sure to delight all those enjoying a royally good afternoon tea,” Debbie McLaughlin, FHU Associates’ Executive Coordinator, said.
Standard tickets include a full afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones, sweets, savories, a choice of hot teas as well as an iced tea. In addition, professional photographs and all activities and venues will be available in a come-and-go format within this time period. All standard ticket holders will be seated as seats become available after 1 p.m.; noon to 1 p.m. is reserved for patrons and sponsors.
Guests should register with the hostess upon arrival. General ticket holders arriving before 1 p.m. may enjoy the other activities until they are seated. Standard tickets are $25 each for adults and $18 for children aged 3-10. Paper tickets will not be issued; instead, guests will show their email confirmation at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the door at an increased cost.
