Jackson Madison County Retired Teachers Association September Meeting
The Jackson Madison County Retired Teachers Association held its first meeting of the 2023 - 2024 association year at North Side Lion's Club with Monola Patterson presiding. The guest speaker was Mr. Charles Adams from the Municipal Planning Commission. Mr. Adams shared with the members proposed changes and challenges that are affecting the Jackson area. JMCRTA also gives back to the community by donating to RIFA's Back Pack Program. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, October 19th at the Lion's Club. All retired teachers are invited to join us. Gwendolyn Whitelaw is the President.
