Praise in the Park #JacksonTN

Join Us for Praise in the Park on October 30th

Jackson, TN – Jackson’s third-annual Season of Unity continues on Sunday, October 30th at

the Ballpark of Jackson, home of the Jackson Generals, with Praise in the Park. Local

churches will host a combined service at 5:30 p.m. for a time of praise and worship with

the Jackson Voices of Unity Choir and special guests, the Oral Roberts Praise and Worship

team NU Voices from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The evening will conclude with a gospel-themed

fireworks show.

This year’s Praise in the Park event is a fresh take with a new structure and location. For

the past two years, area churches have joined together in unity for a series of combined

praise and worship services in one of the city’s beautiful parks to celebrate this event.

“For this year, we chose to bring everyone together in a more concentrated way by

gathering together in one location as the Season of Unity calls for us to do,” said William

Watson, pastor of Historic First Baptist Church and chair of this year’s Praise in the Park.

“This change in venue will allow us to unify our worship time and fellowship together in

an even more meaningful way.”

The event will feature a variety of speakers, such as Jordan Easley, Eugene Brandt, Rhonda

Pettigrew, Angela Snider and Jason Price. Selections by the Jackson Voices of Unity Choir

will include “Glorious,” “Every Praise” and “So Amazing.”

Participating churches include: Christian Lifeway Ministries, Destiny Church Jackson,

Englewood, Fellowship Bible Church, Greater Visions Ministries, Highland Park Church,

Historic First Baptist Church, Love & Truth Church, Macedonia Baptist Church, New

Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, Saint Mark Church of Christianity, Unity Temple COGIC,

Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and West Bemis Baptist Church.
