Brownsville has a great and diverse collection of eateries and Main Street Brownsville’s Dine and Dance Under the Stars event is the ideal opportunity to check them all out for one low price while at one location. This event will be heldFriday, September 30, 2016 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Brownsville Amphitheater. The tickets are $30.00 per person and can be purchased at The Forked Deer, Exclusive Looks and Brownsville City Hall.
Brownsville boasts locally owned and operated restaurants of variety and quality ranging from fine dining to a quick bite, from new businesses to historic locations. To showcase these delicious tastings Dine and Dance Under the Stars will offer samplings of many of the local favorites. Participating restaurants include The Basket, recently voted 2016 Tennessee’s Best Burger, Helen’s Bar B Q, Raisin’ Cain, Tripp’s Country Ham, Mindfield Grill, Lilies, Eader House, BackYard Bar B Q, Las Palmas, El Ranchitos and ZZ’s. Patrons will enjoy a buffet style sit down dinner under the stars.
Following dinner, Main Street Brownsville is bringing back by popular demand The Sensation Band and DJ Combo. Their credits include Best of GigMasters 2013, 2014 and 2015 as well as 2013 and 2015 Rising Star Awards. They are best known for their rhythm and blues, dance, pop and soul music ranging from Mustang Sally to Dock of The Bay and Purple Rain to name a few.
