Hattiloo Theatre Group will present "The Meeting" at Lane College
For the first time in history, the Hattiloo Theatre Group, located in Memphis, TN, will perform in Jackson, TN, on the Lane College campus in the Chambers McClure Academic Center Auditorium and Chapel. The group will perform the play called "The Meeting." The play is an eloquent depiction of a hypothetical meeting between Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. "The Meeting" illuminates the ongoing debate between the two most towering figures of the Civil Rights Movement: how to achieve the same goal - equality for their people - through very different means.
