Art Exhibits

The Ned R. McWherter West TN Cultural Arts Center invites you to come to the Main Gallery at
the Ned and enjoy 53,000 Words– a new art exhibit by Russ Evans.
Adventures in Watermedia is a new exhibit by Judy Duke, on display in the
Upstairs Gallery at the Ned. Both exhibits are free and open to the public and will run from
July 5 - August 30, 2017. Doors are open daily from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. There will be a
reception for these artists Monday, July 17, 2017 from 5-7 pm.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, Russ Evans, who is also a writer, presents his visual novel. The
show represents a retrospective of his work. The three decades worth of paintings explore
Flight, Science Fiction, History, Religion, Nature and Family.
Artist Statement: My hope is to honor God through my art and bring some of the beauty of His world
to others. Adventures in Watermedia is an expression of my view of interesting
places, shapes and colors that I see in the world.
