screening of the documentary Birthright: A War Story

We would like to invite you to a screening of the documentary Birthright: A War Story in Nashville at the Belcourt Theater on Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00pm. 

Birthright: A War Story is a film that examines the accelerating crusade to control and criminalize women’s health and pregnancy decisions. This compelling and educational documentary has received rave reviews following recent showings around the country from Newsweek, the New York Times, LA Times, etc. We hope the film can continue a conversation around self-determination and bodily autonomy in Tennessee. Following the viewing, co-writer and director Civia Tamarkin will be on hand for a Q&A with representatives from Healthy and Free TN, Planned Parenthood, and ACLU-TN.
