The Jackson Theatre Guild will be holding auditions for its Christmas production, “A Christmas Story”, the beloved Christmas classic, produced with special arrangement by Dramatic Publishing.
When: October 19th and 20th, 2019 (Possible Callbacks on Monday, October 21st at 6 PM)Time: 2 PMWhere: Upstairs Rehearsal Room in the Old City Hall Building located at 314 E. Main Street

Humorist Jean Shepherd’s memoir of growing up in the midwest in the 1940s follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself, at Higbee’s Department Store. The consistent response: “You’ll shoot your eye out!”
