JACKSON, Tenn. – Nationally-televised talent show winner Evvie McKinney will perform in concert at the 19th Annual JEWEL Awards Banquet hosted by the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce (http://jmcaacc.org) on Friday, February 21, 2020, 6:30 p.m. at Oman Arena in Jackson, Tennessee.  The Jewel Awards honors outstanding African American business owners and raises funds for the chamber’s Follow Me Into Business® youth development and summer jobs program.   The deadline for nomination of contemporary businesses is January 15, and formers are available on the JMCAACC website.  General Admission concert tickets for the event are available online through Eventbrite.com.

A Memphis native, Evvie McKinney is the Season 1 winner of THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM which aired in February 2018 on FOX Broadcasting Company.  During her 40-minute concert, she will sing a variety of songs, including those by Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle and Tina Turner.  She has several videos on YouTube.com.  For example, her performance of Proud Mary can be seen using the following link -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnFYJvIxb50.
