Jack Daniel's New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash

One of Tennessee’s biggest parties, Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash will air on CBS Television Network as well as stream live and on-demand on Paramount+ — but there’s nothing like being there in person. Rock out in Music City with Zac Brown Band, Brooks & Dunn, Kelsea Ballerini and thousands of your closest friends at the free event at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Bring your party hats and count down to the fireworks and midnight Music Note Drop.

Skydeck New Year’s Eve Party

Skydeck on Broadway, the expansive rooftop bar and entertainment venue at Assembly Food Hall, will ring in 2023 with a performance by national headliner Lost Kings, as well as high-energy mixes from Segø, Cisco and DJ Dirty Darren. The $250 general admission ticket includes beer, seltzer, well drinks, access to glitter bar, photo opportunities and a champagne toast.

 

Party At The Peabody

On New Year’s Eve, the lobby and mezzanine of Memphis’ Peabody Hotel will fill with revelers dancing to live sets from Southbound, Seeing Red and DJ Epic for the iconic Peabody New Year's Eve Party. Tickets purchased before Dec. 30 are $65 or $75 at the door. VIP tickets are $250 and include access to the VIP lounge, party favors, an appetizer buffet, champagne and valet parking.

 

Beale Street New Year’s Eve

Spend the last day of 2022 in Memphis at one of the many celebrations happening around the city. Beale Street brings the party every night, but especially on New Year's Eve as tens of thousands of people dance to live music and enjoy the bars and restaurants on one of America's iconic streets. If you’re looking to boogie, Columbia’s Mulehouse is bringing the disco-tastic 1970s back for New Year’s Eve. The nightclub’s Saturday Night Fever party will feature disco balls, light shows, DJs and dancing, not to mention a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight.

 

Family Friendly New Year’s Eve Activities

 

Creative Discovery Museum

The kid-friendly Cheers to the New Year at Chattanooga’s Creative Discovery Museum (Dec. 30, 2022, 6-8 p.m.) lets families create New Year's clocks at Creation Station and noise makers in the Make It workshop. You can also paint fireworks with forks in the Art Studio and help Father Time countdown to 2023 with bubble wrap fireworks and an apple juice toast.

 

Children’s Museum of Memphis

The Children's Museum of Memphis will celebrate New Year’s at Noon on Dec. 31 with an event  featuring your favorite super heroes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy face painting, a candy toss, a costume photo op with a prize, a themed art project, a DJ, free carousel rides and Winter Wonderland events including sock skating, snow flurries, snowball toss and more. A balloon drop will take place at noon. 

 

Gatlinburg New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks Show

Experience Gatlinburg’s annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks Show at the base of the Space Needle (on Historic Nature Trail/Airport Road). This free, family-friendly celebration is one of the largest in the nation, bringing 50,000 people together with special music, food and fun. The music kicks off at 9:15 p.m. with former American Idol Contestant Brady Turner and at the stroke of midnight, you’ll see fireworks blast from the roof of the 400-foot-tall Space Needle to choreographed music with an LED light show.

 

New Year’s Eve On The Island

Make plans to join in the New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Island in Pigeon Forge, a new retail and entertainment center in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains. Guests of all ages will enjoy the dazzling midnight fireworks production to ring in the New Year, along with a headline performance from country rockers BlackHawk. The Island’s rides, retail and dining establishments will operate as scheduled, including the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel.

 

New Year's Eve Celebration in Historic Downtown Columbia

Spend the last night of the year with your closest friends and family enjoying music, fireworks, confetti cannons and food trucks in Downtown Columbia.  The fun begins at 8 p.m. with the lighting and raising of "the Mule Drop." Other activities include a Kid's Zone from 8-10 p.m., food trucks and hourly countdowns for those with young ones not wishing to stay out late.
