More Than 100 Vendors to Participate in Jackson Hiring Event
(West Tenn.) — More than 100 vendors and employers will participate in the Second Annual West TN
Job/Career Fair planned for Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson and sponsored by
Goodwill Career Solutions and the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
The event will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the center, located at 400 South Highland Ave. Representatives
from hiring companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job
candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
Other sponsors include Forever Communications and Tennessee Correctional Services. The Career Coach
Mobile Unit will also be on hand to provide resume assistance, allow job-seekers to search for jobs online and
provide other career services.
