Lane College Religious Emphasis Week 2017

Lane College Religious Emphasis Week 2017

On behalf of President Logan Hampton, we extend an invitation to you to share in our Religious Emphasis

Week activities. Activities will occur January 29 – February 3, 2017. Please see the schedule below.

The Lane College Annual Religious Emphasis week observance is an opportunity to celebrate and share our

faith on campus and within the larger Jackson-Madison County community. Religious Emphasis Week was

started over one hundred years ago by Lane College Founder, Bishop Isaac Lane, to focus on the symbiotic

relationship between the College and the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church, and to further proclaim

the unalterable ideal that Lane College is an educational institution that believes firmly in the divine nature and

spiritual unity of God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

As we engage in greater efforts to share our faith on the Lane College campus and within the larger Jackson

Madison County community, we look forward to sharing with you throughout this week.
