JTA OFFERS REFLECTIVE “TREAT” BAGS

The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) has Trick or Treat bags for children
to help “shine” their way this Halloween. The shiny silver plastic bags have a
handle, are lightweight and have safety tips to help children be safe. The tips are
from the National Crime Prevention Council: Never go out alone; Have your
parents check your treats; Stay in well-lighted areas; Go only to houses you
know. The bags will be given out on all JTA buses October 28, 30 and 31, while
supplies last.
JTA service hours are 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, Monday through Saturday,
except holidays. The regular fare is $1.25. For more information about this or
any matter please call JTA at 423-0200, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, weekdays.
