SBA Seeks Nominations for the
2018 Small Business Person of the Year
Each year since 1963, the President of the United States has designated a National Small Business Week. The highlight of Small Business Week activities is the presentation of awards at the state and national levels.

SBA is now accepting nominations for its 2018 National Small Business Week Awards, including the Small Business Person of the Year. Since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized the outstanding achievements of America’s small businesses for their contributions to their local communities and to our nation’s economy.
Required forms include:
All nominations: SBA Form 3300, Award Nominee Background Form
Small Business Person of the Year: SBA Form 3301, Small Business Person of the Year Form, See pages 3-4 of the guidelines for complete submission requirements.
Small Business Exporter of the Year: SBA Form 3302, Small Business Exporter of the Year. See pages 5-6 of the guidelines for complete submission requirements.

In addition to the national awards, the SBA Tennessee District Office presents the following state awards: Tennessee 8(a) Graduate of the Year, Tennessee Exporter of the Year, Tennessee Minority Owned Small Business of the Year, Tennessee Rural Owned Small Business of the Year, Tennessee Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year, and Tennessee Woman Owned Small Business of the Year.
