JACKSON CITY COUNCILMAN JOHNNY DODD TO HOST A ‘STOP THE
BULLYING’ NEW YEAR’S EVE YOUTH EMPOWERMENT CONCERT
JACKSON, TENNESSEE, December 19, 2017, — Jackson City Councilman Johnny
Dodd, City Council Representative for District Two, will host a ‘Stop the Bullying’ Youth
Empowerment Concert from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the
Carl Perkins Civic Center, located at 400 South Highland Avenue in Jackson, Tennessee.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the event is free with free food for all ages. Mr.
Wesley Johnson will be coming home to showcase his great talent and “Shalom” will be
sharing his great talent and testimony with our youth! Other guest performers include: Kelsey
Merriweather and Greater Visions Youth Ministry, Agape Drama Ministries, Pastor Dwight
Hunt and Terrica Hunt Hood, E.J. Shelton, Rick Britten “LIFEOLOGIST,” Mother Liberty
C.M.E. Church Youth, Mt. Moriah Youth Choir, Unity Temple Church Youth, Guest
Speaker Stantellia Carter and many more. The event is sponsored by the City of Jackson, the
Jackson Police Department, Reggi’s Barbecue, Benton Future Leaders of Tennessee and Men
on the Move.
