Red Cross to Honor Local Heroes at Annual Heroes Luncheon
Senator Kerry Roberts to Give Keynote Address
WHO: Mid-West TN Chapter of the American Red Cross
WHAT: The Mid-West TN Chapter of the American Red Cross, celebrating 100 years in Mid-west Tennessee, will host their annual Heroes Luncheon event on Thursday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. at the Carl Grant Center on the Union University’s Jackson campus. Guests will hear from keynote speaker, Senator Kerry Roberts.
Local heroes to be honored for their exceptional community service at the luncheon are:
Humanitarian of the Year: Carl Rudd
Uniformed Hero of the Year: Chris Younger, Henderson County Fire Department Chaplain
Red Cross Volunteer of the Year: Travois Smith, Jr.
Red Cross Distinguished Service Member: Dennis and Mary Lee
