Jackson, Tenn (May 6, 2017) - Are you looking for a fun, free, spirit-filled event to take your family to this summer? Come out to the inaugural Community & Family Fun Day at Lane College today from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The event will be held in the mid-section of the campus beginning at the Kirkendoll Student Center, near Lane Avenue, where guests and community residents will participate in a brief welcome & word session led by administration and church representatives. The college will give away free prizes, college paraphernalia and inspirational messages to all.

Children and youth will be able to enjoy an exciting kid-friendly atmosphere led by college students, faculty, staff and church sponsors. Activities include multiple bouncy houses, face painting, water stations, a water slide, great music, fire trucks, police cars, science exhibits, a petting zoo with exotic animals, as well as a trackless train that will give tours of Lane’s beautiful and historic campus. There will be a local DJ at the event playing fun, summertime tunes. Grab something to eat from the Lane College food service for a delicious complimentary lunch.
