WEST TENNESSEE HEALTHCARE PROVIDES EMS SERVICES TO MCNAIRY COUNTY
Jackson, Tennessee (August 31, 2017) — West Tennessee Healthcare is pleased to announce it will
begin providing emergency medical services for the citizens of McNairy County in Southwest Tennessee
effective September 1, 2017. The agreement between West Tennessee Healthcare and McNairy County
ensures that emergency medical services will continue to be provided for McNairy County without
interruption following the end of a contract between McNairy County and another organization.
“We are excited about expanding our high-quality services to this community,” said Joyce Noles,
Executive Director of Medical Center EMS. “We have offered employment to all current employees of
EMS in McNairy County, and we will be equipping the staff with three new ambulances.”
Medical Center EMS will be temporarily located in the north Selmer fire station along with Selmer Fire
Department.
Tim Adams, Vice-President of Hospital Services, said, “We look forward to working with McNairy County
to provide these important services to the community and to ensure quick access to healthcare when its
needed most.”
Medical Center EMS also currently serves Benton, Chester, and Madison Counties in West Tennessee.
