It is with great reverence to cordially extend an invitation to pay homage to Bishop Jessie Williams and Dr. Andrew Cheairs Sr. for one of their many accomplishments in Hardeman County. Bishop Jessie Williams is one of the former pioneers to serve as the first African American City Councilman for Bolivar, TN. Dr. Andrew Cheairs Sr. will also be acknowledged for one of his accomplishments as the first African American Registered Nurse in Hardeman County.
