Area Seniors Invited to 4th Annual Women’s Conference

Jackson, Tennessee (April 18, 2018) - West Tennessee Healthcare Senior Services Department is
excited to announce their Fourth Annual Senior Women’s Conference, “Blossoming Into a
Better You”. The fun “ladies day out” event for women age 50 years and older will be held on
May 10 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Carl Grant Events Center on the campus of Union
University.
Attendees will enjoy a garden-theme atmosphere, enlightening sessions presented by various
speakers, a delicious lunch, and a fabulous fashion show by Inspirations. Sessions will cover a
wide range of topics from improving your health and wellbeing to tips on self-defense. Special
vendors will be showcasing products and services specifically focused toward women. Prepare
to laugh and be entertained by prominent motivational speaker, radio host, and Bible teacher,
Lisa Clements, as she delivers the keynote address, “Life’s a Garden – Dig It!” Regina Smith,
West Tennessee Healthcare Senior Services Manager and event chairperson says, “We are
pleased to offer this event again this year for the ladies in our community. This will be a great
opportunity for women to come together for a day of inspiration, information, fashion and
fellowship.”
The cost to attend the conference is twenty dollars per person, which includes lunch and the
fashion show. Advance registration is required and space is limited. To register, please mail the
registration fee to the Senior Services Department, West Tennessee Healthcare, 620 Skyline
Drive, Jackson, TN 38301. Please make checks payable to Senior Services. Registration
deadline is May 1, 2018.
