SYNOPSIS
GOD. To think that there is a God is absurd. Absurd is described in the dictionary as contrary to reason. It could also
be described as contrary to common sense. The existence of God is contrary to reason and common sense.
RELIGION. Religion breeds terrorism and causes wars. Wars and terrorism are very, very dangerous in the Nuclear
Age.
HEAVEN. Heaven is “up there” somewhere. To be a living place it must be within Oxygen range of Earth and
therefore visible. It isn’t.
HELL. Where the hell is Hell? Nobody has found it yet. Another religious mystery.
JESUS CHRIST. Jesus did some amazing things. Walked on water. Died and lived again. Turned water in to wine. Died
for man’s sins. We are still sinning.
PRAYER. God hears billions of prayers every single day. Do you think he will hear your prayer? Extremely unlikely.
REINCARNATION. Happened to me! I was a Kangaroo. Got shot. Then I was a Spitfire Pilot in the Battle of Brittain.
NOAHS ARK. The great mystery here was how did God make it rain for forty days and forty nights?
ADAM AND EVE. Started the human race with a dysfunctional family. Cain murdered Abel. We are still
dysfunctional. Killing one another. Stealing from one another. Arguing with one another and treating one another
badly.
MOSES. Another magician. Opened the Black Sea to save thousands of people. Then closed it to drown hundreds.
SOUL. Centuries of improved Medical Science have yet to find the Soul in the human body. This is the part of your
body that supposedly goes to Heaven. I don’t know about you, but the only sole I have is at the bottom of my foot.
I have two of them and I don’t think either of them will get to Heaven.
SPIRIT. Like the Soul, the Spirit has yet to found in the human body. Unless the person has been on the Brandy.
RELIGIOUS OBSERVATIONS. How many Angels can dance on the head of a pin? Very few I would say, after observing
the head of a pin.
DEVIL. The old Devil has been made virtually redundant . You don’t hear much about him now.
OVERPOPULATION. The World is seriously overpopulated. Sheet it home to centuries of religion. In the old days
parents had six, eight or ten children. God’s little children. They condemned themselves to a life of poverty raising a
large family just to please God.
FAMILY BREAKDOWNS. Caused by people marrying outside of their Religion, or wanting to escape from their
Religion.
OPPRESSION OF WOMEN. Rife in some religions. Women are treated as second class citizens, or chattels to be used
by men.
CHILD ABUSE. A very current topic at the moment. Child abuse in religious institutions.
WARS. Religion has been the cause of many wars over the centuries. And we are still having wars as you are reading
this.
TERRORISM. The biggest problem facing the world right now. What is the root cause of terrorism? Religion. That’s
what.
CONCLUSION. Religion is a giant Hoax laced with Fairy Tales.
