Pastor retires

Today was a bitter sweet day as our  Pastor Randy Carter of 17yrs retired. Today his message was, Lessons from 45 years of Ministry. He spoke of how we're better together.  Know yourself and know your assignment.  Not all battles are worth fighting.  Never give away your right to choose your attitude.  Learn to encourage yourself in the Lord. Your friends help to shape your life.  Sometimes all you have to step out on is a perhaps.
And finally...NO RESERVES, NO RETREATS AND NO REGRETS.
When I tell you we are gonna miss him...WE ARE TRULY GONNA MISS HIM!
He's been there for our family personally thru surgeries, health scares, let downs, unhappy and happy times.  He's prayed over us and for us. He's been encouraging as well.  As I told him today, this is not goodbye, but see you later.  I pray that he and Ms. Nancy enjoy their retirement,  grandkids and their new home in Knoxville.  We love you two!
