TN flag presentation from 194th National Guard Brigade to Madison County Sheriff

Lieutenant English and Colonel Scates, representing the 194th TN Army National Guard Engineer Brigade, will present a Tennessee flag to Madison County Sheriff John Mehr during the West Tennessee Veterans Coalition meeting Wednesday, June 16, 10:00 am, at American Legion Post 12, 165 Perry Switch Road.


The Tennessee flag was flown over the 194th Brigade’s Headquarters at Camp Buehring, Kuwait during their recent deployment. The Madison County Sheriff’s Department escorted the Brigade to the Memphis Airport prior to their deployment, and escorted the returning Brigade buses back to Jackson following their return to the states.
The certificate of authentication with the flag reads in part, “On behalf of the Soldiers of the 194th Engineer Brigade we thank you for the continued support of our troops.”
