On February 9th, Chairman Wiggins convened Delta Regional Authority’s Annual Governors Quorum meeting in Washington, DC. Governors voted to approve resolutions that will allocate funds among the eight DRA states, approve the Regional Development Plan IV, elect the 2023 States’ Co-Chair, and designate DRA counties and parishes as distressed, non distressed, and isolated areas. The day prior, Chairman Wiggins and DRA staff briefed the state designees and alternates on changes in administrative policies, provided programmatic updates, and discussed details of upcoming projects.
