Morgan White Hired as New Jackson Arts Council Executive Director
The Jackson Arts Council is very pleased to introduce Morgan White as their new Executive Director. Morgan began in her new role at the Jackson Arts Council on Friday, June 16th.
Prior to joining the Jackson Arts Council, Morgan served as Senior Regional Admissions Director for Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) in Henderson, Tennessee, where she was responsible for developing productive relationships in multiple unreached communities across the United States to attract, meet and recruit new students to
enroll at FHU. In this role, she organized events, promoted higher education through numerous public speaking engagements in Tennessee and across the U.S., and managed the social media account to generate interactive content and engage the public.
Morgan has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from FHU. While obtaining her degree, she worked as a Public Relations Intern with The Bramblett Group in Henderson, TN, and as a Camp Counselor and Activity Coordinator at the Gander Brook Christian Camp in Raymond, Maine.
Morgan is a native Tennessean from Smyrna, TN, and is a passionate advocate for the Arts, having participated in and helped coordinate a variety of arts and performing arts-related activities and programs during her years in school in Smyrna and while at Freed-Hardeman.
Morgan currently resides in Jackson with her husband, Joshua, who is a Physician’s Assistant with a local medical practice.
