NOVEMBER 9, 2017– 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The Jackson Area MPO is working on an update to the long range transportation plan for Jackson and Madison County. Federal
regulations require the plan to be updated every five years. This update is intended to build on the community goals and policy
direction established in the One Jackson Civic Master Plan adopted by the City Council in 2015.
Please feel free to stop by, learn more about the working draft of the plan, and share your ideas and suggestions to help improve
transportation in Jackson and Madison County. This community open house begins an extended public comment period that will be
open until the MPO Executive Board meeting for public hearing and final consideration of the plan on December 14, 2017.

The MPO welcomes public comments or questions on transportation planning at any time.  Comments are accepted by e-mail:
mpo@cityofjackson.net , by phone: (731) 425-8286, by mail: Jackson Area MPO, 111 East Main St., Jackson, TN 38301, or in person
at MPO public meetings.
The complete working draft of the plan update is available for review on the MPO website at: http://www.cityofjackson.net/jackson-
mpo/public-review- and-comment- page or in person at the City of Jackson Planning Department or the Jackson-Madison County
Library - Main Branch. Copies may also be made available to community centers upon request.
