Availability of Jackson Community Development Program’s Annual Action
Plan, 2017-2018
The proposed Annual Action Plan, 2017-2018 will be available for
public review and comments beginning April 13, 2017.  Copies are
available for public viewing during normal business hours at the
following locations:
        Jackson Housing Authority Office, 125 Preston Street
        Mayor’s Office, City Hall
        Madison County/Jackson Library, Downtown
A summary of the estimated funding for proposed areas of allocated
funds and sources is included below.  Further detail is provided in
the proposed Annual Action Plan, 2017-2018, that identifies community
development goals, objectives and strategies of the Five-Year
Consolidated Plan; and the specific funding amounts, source of
funding, project descriptions, eligibility and national objective
citations, project locations and proposed accomplishments.
PLEASE NOTE: For planning purposes, the Jackson Community Development
program used current funding levels to develop the draft plan due to
federal budget not yet finalized.  Proposed activities’ budgets will
be proportionally increased or decreased from the estimated funding
levels to match the actual FY 2017 HUD allocation amounts (estimated
examples of possible increases/decreases included in draft plan).

A public hearing is scheduled for public review and comment Friday,
April 28, 2017:  11:00 a.m. at Jackson Center for Independent Living.
Written public comments are encouraged and will be accepted up to
April 30, 2016.  Comments should be submitted to Ms. Latonya Fason,
