Augustine School held its fourth annual RaceDay
Augustine School held its fourth annual RaceDay@AugustineSchool on Saturday, September 24th to raise money for the school's scholarship fund. Serious racers, students, families, and children gathered on a beautiful fall morning to complete various obstacles throughout Augustine School’s campus. The school offered three different races: a very challenging 4 mile Extreme Obstacle Course, a slightly less strenuous 2 mile Basic Course, and a relaxed Family Fun Course.
This year’s event was a great success with over 200 racers competing to raise significant funds for the school. Augustine School sees this annual race as a wonderful opportunity to invite the community onto its campus while reinforcing the vision of the school to educate students as intellectually, spiritually, and physically in a unique classical, Christian environment.
The event was supported by the community with many organizational and corporate sponsors, including our gold and silver sponsors, Union University, Jackson Sun Media Works, Eddleman&Eddleman, and Jackson Urological Associates. Next year’s RaceDay@AugustineSchool has been scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 2017
