Union to hold tailgate, give away Buster bobbleheads at Feb. 4 game
JACKSON, Tenn. — Union University will give away 500 Buster the Bulldog bobbleheads at its Feb. 4 basketball games against the University of West Georgia.
The event begins with a tailgate party at 11 a.m., with food trucks on site. Doors to the basketball game open at 1 p.m., with bobbleheads of Union’s mascot, Buster the Bulldog, given away to the first 500 fans.
“This will be the first weekend basketball game after our students return for the spring semester,” said Dan Griffin, Union’s vice president for enrollment services. “We want it to be a fun day for Union students, faculty, staff, boosters and the greater Jackson and West Tennessee community as well.”
The Lady Bulldogs will play at 2 p.m., followed by the Bulldogs at 4 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 for general admission and $5 for students.
