FHU Golf Scramble Ready to Tee Off October 14
Henderson, Tennessee — (Aug. 16, 2023) — Freed-Hardeman University’s golf team invites golfers and sponsors to Chickasaw Golf Course in Henderson for the annual FHU Scramble Saturday, October 14, at 9 a.m.
A $500 entry fee includes a round of golf for a four-person team and a catered lunch. Tee gifts will be provided to all players. Prizes will be given in each flight, and closest to pin / long drive competitions are also part of the tournament. The tournament is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the team, supporting players and the program.
“The FHU golf program fundraiser is vital to the success of FHU golf each year. We are grateful to those who have participated in prior years and who will be part of this year’s fun event. Our entire team is looking forward to hosting and getting to know our supporters. We can’t wait to see everyone!” Head Golf Coach Randall Rhodes said.

The team’s 2023-2024 schedule includes tournaments in Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. The fundraiser tournament provides the additional funding needed for the FHU golf program. This includes travel expenses, uniforms, and the golf resources required for practice and tournament play.
