Jackson Police Chief, Julian Wiser, apprehends Subway robber. Chief Wiser located the suspect, who has been identified as Stevie D. Dean, in the area of First Street and Middle Avenue.
On November 5th, around 8:45 a.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to 122 E. Baltimore Street, Subway, for a call of a robbery. Surveillance video captures an unidentified black male who was wearing a hooded jacket, white toboggan, dark pants and light colored boots entering the business demanding money. The suspect demanded money while his hand was concealed inside of his jacket inferring he was in possession of a gun. The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash. He was last seen fleeing on foot traveling east.
A description of the suspect was broadcasted to all officers on shift. While searching for the suspect, Jackson Police Chief, Julian Wiser, located the suspect and took him into custody at approximately 10:40 a.m. Dean has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and will be arraigned in the morning, November 7th, at Jackson City Court.
