LOCAL STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO ORDER OF ENGINEERS MAY 7

MARTIN, Tenn. – June 3, 2022 – LOCAL STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO ORDER OF ENGINEERS MAY 7 – Cameron Goodrich, of Jackson, and Kaleb Hutcherson, of Oakfield, graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin on May 7 after being inducted into the Order of Engineers during a separate ceremony that morning. The induction ceremony is a way for graduating engineering students to show pride in their new profession and unity with fellow engineers. Participating students recite a pledge to uphold honor, workmanship and ethics in their upcoming careers. Goodrich and Hutcherson earned Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering, and Hutcherson graduated cum laude. Goodrich and Hutcherson are pictured with (l, r) Dr. Tim Nipp, professor of engineering and chair of the Department of Engineering, and Dr. Shadow Robinson, dean of the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
