Story Time Returns to FHU for the Fall Semester
Henderson, Tennessee — (Sept. 11, 2023) — Story Time for preschoolers has resumed for the fall semester at Freed-Hardeman University. The first session was conducted Sept. 1, 2023, in the Gardner Center Conference Room. The FHU library staff collaborates with FHU students enrolled in Children’s Literature to present Story Time each Friday at 10:30 a.m. when school is in session.
Story Time dates for the remainder of the fall semester are Sept. 15, 22, 29; Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27; Nov. 10; and Dec. 1 and 8. Members of the community are encouraged to bring their pre-school children to these free, interactive sessions. The event consists of completing a coloring sheet, singing, listening to a story and making a craft or participating in an activity. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Sessions typically last approximately 30 minutes.
