East Bolivar Clean-up Day #HOME Grant in Action

SWTDD employees Kamillah Kelly and Casey Smith joined with the city employees, councilmen, and citizens of Bolivar to participate in the Cleanup Day in East Bolivar!

"It was a beautiful and perfect Saturday morning for picking up trash, weed eating, and working heavy equipment, everyone chipped in and did their part to give our Bolivar residents a beautiful place to live," said Mayor Barrett Stevens on the city's Facebook.

The Neighborhood Cleanup Day was held as part of Bolivar's work in providing some residents with an opportunity to make needed repairs to their homes through a Tennessee Housing Development Agency grant received by the City of Bolivar. The target homes are in East Bolivar on Margin Street through Water Street.

The grants are available for homeowners in this part of East Bolivar. Interested residents can pick up an application at Bolivar City Hall and submit them before Friday, October 14.
