Obion County — from residents who are young to those who are young-at-heart — is filled with musical talent.
Whether performers show their talent at their respective schools and churches or take the stage at the local theater or community events, they raise their voices in song throughout the year.
There is no better time to share that talent than at Christmas. And that’s exactly what will happen when students take the stage at the Union City Civic Auditorium for a rare Sunday afternoon Community Concert Association of Union City/Obion County performance Sunday at 3.
The Christmas Concert features the Obion County Children’s Chorus, Union City Elementary School’s Chorus Kids and Voices of UCES and the Union City High School Choir.
Members and patrons will be admitted with their tickets. All others wishing to attend may pay a $5 admission fee or bring two non-perishable food items or one new unwrapped toy per person. The concert will serve as a fundraiser for Chimes for Charity.
