Author Ted Kluck to Speak at the Friends of the Library Noon Meeting
(Jackson, TN-) Please join the Friends of the Library on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 12:00
p.m., for the Noon Book Review. Ted Kluck will be discussing Creative Nonfiction and his
adoption memoir entitled Hello, I Love You: Adventures in Adoptive Fatherhood.
Mr. Kluck is an award-winning internationally-published author of 25 books, and his journalism
has appeared in ESPN the Magazine, USA Today, and many other outlets. He is screenwriter and
co-producer on the upcoming feature film Silverdome, slated for a 2018 release.
Ted Kluck won back-to- back Christianity Today Book of the Year Awards in 2007 and 2008,
and was a 2008 Michigan Notable Book Award winner in 2008 for his football memoir, Paper
Tiger: One Athlete’s Journey to the Underbelly of Pro Football. He received the Nelson Ross Pro
Football Research Award for his 2015 release entitled Three-Week Professionals: Inside the
1987 NFL Player's Strike.
He currently serves as a journalism professor at Union University in Jackson, TN, and coaches
long snappers at Lane College. Ted has played professional indoor football, and played and
coached in France as a member of the Licornes St Brieuc. He is a member of the Pro Football
Researchers Association. He is a frequent editorialist for the Jackson Sun.
Mr. Kluck will have copies of his books and will be available for signing.
Bring a sack lunch and enjoy desserts provided by the Friends of the Library during the review.
