Due to unseasonal weather during the past few months, customers have seen a slight increase in their utility bills. This workshop will focus on customers’ concerns regarding those utility bills. “This increase in usage not only creates a strain on the utility system but on our customers as well,” explains Ted Austin, Vice President of Customer Service/Community Relations. “JEA wants to help customers understand why their bills are higher. We want to advise customers on how to lower bills and what to do if they are struggling to pay.”
The workshop will contain helpful information on reading bills, energy usage in the home and energy conservation. It is free and open to all JEA customers. Ted Austin will be available to work one-on-one with customers as well as Matt McKenzie – Customer Accounts Manager. Customer Service Representatives will also be available at this event.
This workshop is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
