JUNIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT JMCGH
Jackson, Tennessee (February 14, 2018) — Jackson-Madison County General Hospital is accepting
applications for its summer Junior Volunteer Program. Junior Volunteers have the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in a hospital atmosphere.
Junior Volunteer areas of service include, but are not limited to, nursing areas, gift shops, waiting areas and deliveries. The program is approximately eight weeks.
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age, and no more than 18 years of age by June 1, 2018 and have completed the eighth grade. A completed application, copy of your last report card (must have a 3.0 grade point average), two completed reference forms from teachers, and a 250 word printed or typed essay explaining your specific interest in healthcare. The commitment form must be signed by a parent or guardian and turned in with the packet.

The deadline to submit completed application packets is March 15th. Completed packets must be
received in the Volunteer Services Department or postmarked by 4:30 p.m. on March 15th. There are no exceptions to the deadline and incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
